After the first round (in-person) and the second round (live on Zoom), following two intense rounds of competition, a total of 9 volunteer student teachers and 2 professional teachers participated in grading the competition essays. The final rankings are as follows:
Second grade:
- 1st place: Daniel (Selina’s class)
- 2nd place: Kongkong (Helen’s class)
- 3rd place: Enchi (Helen’s class)
Third grade:
- 1st place: Matthew (Max’s class)
- 2nd place: Annie (Max’s class)
- 3rd place: Andrew (Max’s class)
Fourth grade:
- 1st place: Lily (Maggie’s class)
- 2nd place: Cheryl (Maggie’s class)
- 3rd place: Fay (Maggie’s class)
Fifth grade:
- 1st place: Amy (Nick’s class)
- 2nd place: Alice (Ella’s class)
- 3rd place: Connie (Ella’s class)
According to the competition rules, the first-place winner receives a prize of $100, the second-place winner receives $50, and the third-place winner receives $25. The coaching teachers of the winning students also receive a bonus.
In this writing competition, we faced many challenges, but everyone worked hard to overcome them. A special thanks to our volunteer student teachers Maggie, Hellen, Ellen, and Scarlett, who went above and beyond, demonstrating exceptional dedication and responsibility!
