Peter is a sophomore in the Magnet Program at his high school. His interest in computer science started when he was in fourth grade, and he has been growing in the field ever since. He has competed in numerous coding competitions, placing 11th out of the 1,981 participants in the DTCC Code-A-Thon 2023 and earning the Silver Award in ACSL's Senior Division. He also was the captain of the world champion team for CoderZ League Pro in January 2023. He participated in Capture the Flags, getting 1st place in MagicCTF 14 and 15 and getting 2nd place in Lockheed Martin's CYBERQUEST in 2023. Recently, he delved into the world of AI and is currently using PyTorch to create deep learning models for various applications. He has been a member at YDRC for over three years now, being awarded the Gold level Presidential Volunteer Service Award twice. He teaches Python and Science classes and mentors students to prepare for ACSL. Last year, two of his students won Gold, one student won Silver, and one student won Bronze in the Finals for the Elementary division. This year, five of his students won Gold and five more won Silver in the Elementary division Finals. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games with his friends and playing golf.
